The former world number 1 gave a first interview since his car accident in February in the Los Angeles area. In the magazine “Golf Digest”, he also described his rehabilitation as “painful” and that it is even more painful than the previous ones. The American is recovering from multiple fractures to his right leg, among others.

“It’s a completely different story,” he admitted in a short interview published Thursday. My physiotherapy keeps me busy. I do my daily routines and focus on my main goal: to walk on my own. I take it one step at a time. ”

Also, Woods is no longer wearing a protective boot, according to what social media recently suggested. He still needs crutches, however. Moreover, he cannot predict the exact moment of his return to the game, not having wanted to comment on this subject.

The 45-year-old has been quite annoyed by the physical glitches in recent years. He has had five back surgery and was recovering from surgery performed in December when he was involved in the crash last winter.
