The Elective General Assembly of the Chadian Judo Federation was held this Saturday, February 6, 2021. At the end of the meeting, Me Abakar Djermah Aumi was reappointed as president of this sports association.
This elective general assembly not only allowed the outgoing management team to take stock of the activities carried out at the national, sub-regional, continental and global levels. The team led by Me Abakar Djermah Aumi took advantage of its mandate for the organization and participation of Chad in competitions and the construction of a regional Judo dojo in the country.
For Me Abakar Djermah Aumi this renewal of confidence by the Judokas is a strong sign for this discipline 《I have granted myself this last 4-year mandate for the refoundation of Judo because we want to rebuild this discipline by ensuring the succession》 makes the president understand of the Judo Abakar Djermah Aumi Federation at the assembly.
Thus a team of 11 young people to lead the provincial league of Ndjamena was set up.
However, Me Abakar Djermah Aumi believes that the challenge is enormous, especially with Chad’s candidacy for the African Judo Union. This candidacy of Chad for the African Judo Union is an opportunity for the Federation to be heard on the continent.
Me Abakar Djermah Aumi took the opportunity to inform the audience of the organization of a day of reflection on African Judo which will take place from February 12 to 14 in the capital city of Ndjamena. This meeting will not only allow twenty of the expected Judo federations to look into the future of African Judo.
