Real Madrid president Florentino Perez enthused: “Toni Kroos is one of the greatest players in Real Madrid history. This club is his home and will always be his home.”
DFB sports director Rudi Völler said: “Toni Kroos is an outstanding footballer who can crown his impressive career with a sixth Champions League title – you can let that melt in your mouth. In the Champions League final at Wembley, Kroos can win the trophy for the sixth time. Mats Hummels, who Kroos will face in the Champions League final, also spoke up: “What a footballer.
