The Embassy of Japan donated various items to the Corrientes federation

The Correntina Table Tennis Federation received from the Embassy of Japan an important donation of elements for the practice of table tennis, which will benefit different clubs in the province.

The steps were taken by the athlete Alejandro López Desimoni, and with the support of the national senator Pedro Braillard Poccard, contact was made through Vicente Peruggi with the Japanese ambassador, Takahiro Nakamae.

The donation, destined to the Correntina Table Tennis Federation, consists of high-tech paddles and rubber for paddles. Among the benefited entities is the Club de Regatas Corrientes.

For this reason, on the morning of the day before an act was held in the Multiple Use Room (SUM) of the Miter Park institution, where the donated items were received by the president of Regatense, Eduardo Tassano, who was accompanied by the secretary María Eugenia Valesani, Emilio Lanari, member of the board of directors, together with the director of Sports, professor Jorge Esposito.

The delivery was made by the president of the federation, Nelson Veas, together with Senator Braillard Poccard, who noted: “I especially thank Ambassador Nakamae for this gesture and I know that there is a commitment to help other sports, such as judo, as well that we are going to continue with this management ”.

In this context, Tassano thanked the donation and commented that “this serves to work together with the federation and promote sport, especially in the most deprived places, so I thank López Desimoni and Senator Braillard Poccard for their management, since Through their contact, this important donation was achieved ”.
