About his arrest, in dialogue with the program High Pressure (TyC Sports) Patota said: “It’s going to be kind of funny and I apologize to those who were deprived of liberty, but I spent 30 days on vacation – I can say – because I went to a farm in Florida, which is the best jail in Uruguay. I was arrested because my dog scratched my mom”.

Regarding why he came to this situation, he admitted: “I made a lot of money as a footballer, but the money was spent. Today I live day by day. Thats the reality”.
