Success against Meppen – Kühn breaks the spell – sport

A substitute, of all things, provided three badly needed points in Bayern Munich II’s catch-up game against SV Meppen: After just a few seconds on the field, Nicolas Kühn took the lead for the third division substitute for the record champions, and in the end the young Bayern team won 2-0 (0: 0). Coach Holger Seitz’s team was already clearly superior in the first half, but the lack of a top striker made itself felt again after Joshua Zirkzee was banned for three games after his red card from the derby against 1860 Munich (0: 2) is. Josip Stanisic (9th) and Maximilian Zaiser (13th) had the best opportunities before the break. The lead ended a short phase in which the guests from the Emsland played a little more courageously forward, Christopher Scott decided the game with the 2-0 after 74 minutes. Bayern’s U23 jumps to 13th place in the third division table with the win.
