Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is said to have made a lot of progress and may even be back in training on Wednesday.
That’s what ESPN learned on Tuesday.
Recall that last Sunday, the 25-year-old athlete suffered a concussion during the third quarter of a 22-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns in a playoff game.
He had previously made 21 passes for gains of 255 yards and a touchdown. He had also crossed the goal line with the ball in hand on one occasion.
After being hit, Mahomes had difficulty getting up on his own. He did not return to the clash afterward and was placed under the NFL concussion protocol.
Next Sunday, the Chiefs will compete in the American Association Finals for a third consecutive year. They will compete against the Buffalo Bills.
