The plot of the women’s race is already clear from the first 2 km: Anna Hofer (Sportclub Merano) and the reigning Under 20 world champion bronze medalist Lucia Arnoldo (Atl. Dolomiti Bellino) as the leading couple, Silvia Boscacci (Pol. Albosaggia) and Chiara Pedol (Atl. Dolomiti Belluno) in pursuit. In the last kilometer and a half Arnoldo makes the gap showing off excellent condition: his success in 32:09, with one minute and 46 on Hofer in second (33:55) while Pedol takes third place in 34:38 and earns the blue jersey for the European Championships (up for grabs for the top three in both the men’s and women’s categories) and Boscacci defends fourth position (35:21) from the return of Federica Borromini (Atl. ARCS CUS Perugia, 35:25).
CORPORATE – In the first test among the Seniores/Promesse, La Recastello Radici Group dominates: 172 points collected to precede Unione Sportiva Malonno (139) and Atletica Saluzzo (127).
