Joe Ingles’ historic streak with the Utah Jazz ended

For basketball romantics there came a sad moment because ended Joe Ingles’ historic streak with the Utah Jazz.

The Australian player accumulated 384 regular season games in a row, that streak was broken on Friday night, January 8, due to discomfort in the Achilles tendon. The last time Ingles had missed a game in the NBA was December 16, 2015, when a visit to the dentist left him out of the game between Pelicans and Jazz that was played in Utah.

Counting the playoff games, Joe Ingles made 418 games in a rowIt was the longest active streak in the NBA, now that place is in the hands of Corey Joseph of the Kings, who barely adds 274 games without missing the floor.

Both are obviously far, far away from the Iron Man in the NBA, AC Green, who played 1,192 games uninterruptedly.
