23-year-old tennis player Elliot Benchetrit is officially an Atlas Lion as of January 1, 2021 as he announced on his Instagram account.
Recently, the Franco-Moroccan decided to defend the colors of Morocco during the ATP tournaments and the Olympic Games. “I hope the holidays have gone well and that you are ready for 2021. For my part, a big change in my tennis history will start from January 1st. Playing for Morocco, my father’s country of birth, is going to be an honor! Representing this country in the Davis Cup and the Olympics will be just as much,”Wrote the Nice man in mid-December.
Remember that Elliot is currently 223rd worldwide. The Atlas Lion will finally realize his dream of competing in major tournaments under the star spangled banner of the Kingdom, his father’s country of origin of which he is too proud.
