The Buffalo Bills knew how to overcome adversity and despite ending some suffering, they ended up winning 27-24 over the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round, returning to an NFL Division Series 25 years later.
After allow two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the Bills defense asserted himself in the last minute when the Colts were trying to get into position for a field goal.
In fourth down from the middle of the field, Philip Rivers threw a Hail Mary towards the goal line which was diverted.
The Buffalo’s last victory in the playoffs was on December 30, 1995, when they beat the Miami Dolphins 37-22 in the wild card round.
Prior to this game, they had lost six in a row in the postseason, including a 22-19 overtime loss to Houston last year.
