Türkgücü – Without Ideas – Sport

After numerous good performances at the beginning of the season, third division promoted Türkgücü Munich now threatens to slip into the lower region of the table. After two defeats in a row, the worst performance of the season followed on Tuesday in the floodlight game against Halleschen FC, in which Alexander Schmidt’s team was even well served with a 0: 3 (0: 2).

Coach Schmidt had expected the guests to be “compact”, but they started offensive and deservedly took the lead after just twelve minutes: Julian Derstroff scored from the edge of the box after a simple body deception. Only two minutes later, Türkgücü goalkeeper René Vollath was overcome again: Janek Sternberg brought a sharp ball from the left to the five, which Michael Eberwein slipped into the net (14th).

There was no reaction from Türkgücü on the field after the second wake-up call, Schmidt sent the substitutes to warm up. The structure of the game remained sluggish and unimaginative, with playmaker Sercan Sararer only occasionally landing another blow. It took until the 34th minute before the previous top scorer in the league, Petar Sliskovic, got the first good chance for his team: He shot Halle’s goalkeeper Sven Müller from an acute angle, while lying down he brought the ball inside again where two players narrowly missed. Halle remained the more dangerous team until the break, shortly before Sliskovic’s chance Eberwein hit the post with his head.

At the beginning of the second half of the game, a player made his debut who had played for Germany in several junior national teams and most recently in the Turkish first division: Atakan Akkaynak played in midfield after a shoulder injury. But even he could not give the game any impulses, the second half was even more one-sided. Halle missed the best chances before Derstroff made the decision again with a deflected shot from distance (61st). The reaction only came in stoppage time when Türkgücü fired more shots on goal than in the 90 minutes before. After the game on Sunday at SC Verl, Türkgücü still has the opportunity to stop the negative trend in a week’s catch-up game against SV Meppen.
