NFL has taken new steps to try to limit the spread of COVID-19

The NFL has tightened its health measures a notch, further limiting access to training complexes for players in its 32 formations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a memo sent to the 32 teams including l’Associated Press got a copy, the league ordered that as of Monday, clubs that played on Sunday close their training complex for the next two days.

Only players requiring medical treatment due to injury or a rehabilitation program will be able to access it.

Coaches may also have access to the complex, but must work from their desks and cannot hold meetings except virtually.

Teams playing on Monday evenings may resume hosting their players as of Thursday, while complexes for clubs playing on Thursday must remain closed until Sunday.

These provisions have been approved by the Players Association.
