Tune in to Fox Cricket on Channel 501 as Australia take on India in their second T20 international on Sunday.
Australian all-rounder Moises Henriques says his problem with India’s use of the concussion substitute did not outweigh the validity of Ravindra Jadeja’s concussion, but rather whether Yuzvendra Chahal really was a comparable substitute.
Jadeja, who saved India’s innings with a 23-ball 44, saved India’s innings and put a Mitchell Starc delivery in his helmet on the 20th.

He was not examined by India’s team doctor at the time, hit another nine runs from the last three balls of the innings and was then exchanged for Chahal during the innings break.
Under ICC regulations, a player may be investigated at the end of the over, which in this case coincides with the end of the inning.
Australia coach Justin Langer was spotted having a heated discussion with referee David Boon prior to the start of the chase.

Jadeja appeared to have a slim chance of bowling in Australia’s innings after injuring his right leg in the 19th game against the Indian innings. His change therefore turned out to be a coincidence for the Indians.
Australia’s problem, however, was not that India replaced an injured player with a healthy player, but whether Jadeja, an all-rounder, and Yuzvendra Chahal, an absolute bowler, met the comparable requirements of a concussion substitute.
Jadeja averaged 29.53 with an economy of 7.10 with the ball in T20Is, while Chahal averaged 24.34 with an economy of 8.18. However, both of them often rely on rolling their full allotment when they’re in the side.
“When you have professionals to make these decisions and there is no doubt that he knocked on your helmet, I like to see the best in everyone from my point of view,” said Henriques after the game.
“But having said that, is it a comparable replacement, the question we’d like to see.
“There is no doubt that he was hit in the head, and when doctors are making those decisions to say he can get a concussion sub, those decisions must be made.”
After the game, Virat Kohli said, “Jaddu was hit on the side of the head. He felt dizzy, he still is. “
