Legendary basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar told a magazine he has prostate cancer.
The leader of NBA history for points did not give more details about his illness. According to his spokesperson, this is the first time that Abdul-Jabbar has spoken publicly about his cancer.
The 73-year-old man was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia in 2008.
