Abdou Harroui makes an impression at Sparta Rotterdam this season and was in the interest of FC Groningen during the last transfer period. In the end it did not come to a transfer. Kees Jansma picks up at the Live Show van Football International the conversation between Lawyer and Harroui. “The lawyer was giving an interview and I was after that”, says the Sparta midfielder. “Then he came to me for a moment, of course I worked with him at Sparta. We had a conversation about my future, which would be a great step in my career. We were sparring a bit.”
Jansma laughs at Harroui’s reaction and makes it all a bit clearer. “No, Lawyer said that Feyenoord would be a great club for you.” Harroui can agree with this. “Feyenoord is also a great club, but there are more like that,” he says.
