Eintracht Frankfurt considering Dejan Joveljic’s winter return

Dejan Joveljic, loan player at WAC, could possibly return to his home club Eintracht Frankfurt in winter. The German club is said to be discussing a return action for the 21-year-old after the departure of striker Bas Dost.

With eight goals in 19 games, Joveljic is currently in good hands with the Carinthians, only playmaker Michael Liendl scored more often (10 goals). The fact that the two will continue to prepare each other’s goals in the coming year is not set in stone. After the sale of Bas Dost, lender Frankfurt only has one more experienced center forward in Andre Silva.

According to picture the management team is therefore also discussing a possible termination of the loan. But the WAC can hope. If it is up to coach Adi Hütter, the Serb would stay in Austria for the time being. “I don’t know whether it would make sense to bring him back now that he’s scoring goals,” the coach said against the sheet.

Furthermore, Hütter expects the comeback of youngster Ragnar Ache (22), who had to pause due to a muscle operation: “He is doing well in rehab. I assume that he will be able to train again in January.” Ache would be a different type of player than Joveljic, that is, tactical considerations could also play a role. However, according to the statements made, an exit seems unlikely, it is loud kicker “Rumor has it in the industry” that Luka Jovic could switch to SGE on loan.
