Boulazac Basket Dordogne recruits a player to replace its injured leader

Boulazac Basket Dordogne has found a medical freelance writer to replace their injured leader, Edgar Sosa. The BBD announced in a press release this Wednesday evening that it had recruited Cameron Wells. The 32-year-old American leader comes from the Gravelines-Dunkerque club. He has played in many European countries including six seasons in the German championships, one season in Italy and one season in the Netherlands.

Cameron Wells notably finished 4th in the German championship for the 2019-2020 season. During his time at Gravelines, he scored an average of 11.2 points in the five games he played with, for example, 100% success on free throws and 62.9% success for two-point baskets.

The BBD which resumes this Saturday, December 19 the Jeep Elite championship after more than a month of interruption linked to the health epidemic and the second confinement. Boulazac Basket Dordogne will then host Monaco on December 26 at the Palio to end the year. As for the January schedule, the National Basketball League has not given an indication for the time on the dates and the meetings planned.

As you will recall, the BBD was eliminated from the French Basketball Cup.
