TRANSFERS – ANDERE RSC Anderlecht is increasingly focusing on “data transfers”, players who are picked up on the basis of their data. Amir Murillo, who recently renewed his contract, is a good example of this. Laurenz Van Looveren is the new chief scout in that department.
He replaces Arthur Des Spiegelhelaere who chooses a job in the corporate world.
Van Looveren comes over from the Slovakian DAC 1904, where he was also chief scout. Last year, Van Looveren was still in the media with his study of talented football players who go abroad too quickly and the consequence of their market value.
