Not Passing the Ketum Exchange, Ari Wibowo Touches PBSI’s Bad Portrait

Jakarta

Ari Wibowo, one of the candidates for chairman of PBSI, did not pass the election market. He failed because the amount of support did not meet the requirements to go forward.

Since registering to become a candidate for Ketum PBSI, Ari has actually pocketed 10 letters of support from Pengprov as an initial requirement for nomination.

However, during the verification process the Penjaringan Team found multiple letters of support from five provincial administrators. The five are East Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Jambi and Banten itself.

Ari regretted the decision because he believed that there were efforts by certain parties to prevent him from advancing. This was stated by Ari after receiving the verification result letter from the Penjaringan Team on Wednesday (4/11/2020).

“Yes (did not pass the requirements for the PBSI Ketum candidate). If I see there are attempts to denudate me, there will be multiple votes. Against the letter of support that I have received, people should have known, so they should respect each other,” said Ari to detikSport by telephone.

“However, efforts have been made to intervene in a very real way. Even from North Maluku, namely the General Secretary himself told me, there are those who act on behalf of BPK staff, intervene,” he said.

“On average, the chairman of PBSI Pengprov is a regional official, so he uses power to lead to one vote. This is what I regret, especially when talking about badminton, sportsmanship becomes the spirit of sport.” Thus there is no opportunity to defend themselves or explain to the Penjaringan Team.

“Earlier, I just received the official letter at 1:00 p.m. WIB. That was because we were proactive because there was no news. We called, how come the reasons were not taken, we were not informed. That is if the team leader does not call, they will not be informed. PBSI’s bad protret in the present, if I observe, yes this is how it is like this, “he explained.

Even though he is no longer able to advance, the 45-year-old man will not necessarily accept the single candidate’s decision. So far, only Agung Firman Sampurna, who is the candidate for Head of PBSI Chair.

“Those of us who are left can still take a stand, even my supporters say they don’t want acclamation. In that sense, last time I had a confrontation with Central Java, East Java, Aceh and Yogyakarta, expressing my support position. Because there were unsportsmanlike efforts to speak up for us. at the National Conference. We may convey something later, including other technical matters, “he said.

“This actually destroys democracy, even though from the start, from the beginning 10 provincial officials would find it difficult to find the best cadres, for me the better the better. We compete with programs, track records, but if we are led to acclamation, it seems that we have no choice. given the opportunity. “

“Yes, our nation is blinded by things like this. Just imagine that the rulers always want to be in power in every line. Sports that should be concentrated on people in charge are kept away. This is ironic for me,” he explained.

“This is unfortunate. This cannot be separated from badminton alone, maybe in other sports, we as the nation’s children are concerned. I am not disappointed but this is a fact,” he emphasized.
