LIGA MX: Dorlan Pabón, Stefan Medina and Avilés Hurtado champions of the 2020 MX Cup with Monterrey | Colombians Abroad

Monterrey drew 1-1 with Tijuana on Wednesday in the second leg of the Copa Mx final and thanks to the fact that in the first leg they won 0-1, they won their third Cup and with that they made a triplet in Mexican football. Now Monterrey is the current champion of the Concacaf Cup, League and Champions League.

Without demanding themselves and handing over possession to the rival, the Rayados got shots from Arturo González, Carlos Rodríguez and Chilean Sebastián Vegas that, had it not been for rejections from goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco, would have pierced the Tijuana net in the first half.

While the Xolos, forced to score due to a 0-1 deficit on the scoreboard, suffered to create danger. Tijuana had two shots from Colombians Fabián Castillo and Christian Rivera deflected from the goal defended by Luis Cárdenas.

In the second part, the duel decreased in intensity. It was in the final 20 minutes that the teams again looked to attack and at 87, Víctor Guzmán committed a penalty to Janssen, who was in charge of charging it to the center to make it 1-0.

After the goal of the Dutch, the Argentine Nicolás Sánchez rejected a ball in defense and Barbosa took advantage of the middle distance to get 1-1 at 88 by defining Cárdenas’s right post.
