KNVB agrees with AZ’s request and moves Eredivisie game with Emmen

A shift in the match calendar for AZ and FC Emmen. The game that was scheduled for Saturday evening November 21 will be moved to Sunday evening November 22.

AZ announces this through official channels. It is the first game for the Alkmaarders after the international break. The game has been moved by one day at the request of AZ, to Sunday evening at 8 p.m.

Due to the relocation of the game, there is a better spread of the games between the international period and the Europa League game on Thursday, November 26 against Real Sociedad.

AZ’s schedule is overcrowded: hardly a week goes by without a midweek game having to be played. This also applies to Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord. VoetbalPrimeur spoke about this with Vincent Gouttebarge, medical scientist at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers (location AMC) and head of medical affairs at FIFPRO.
