Ronaldo and other Juve internationals reported for breaking isolation

In addition to the Portuguese star, several South American internationals – Dybala, Cuadrado, Danilo and Bentancur – indeed decided to leave the hotel where the workforce was in isolation at the start of the week, without waiting for the final tests, the results of which are expected Wednesday or Thursday, according to several Italian media.

“The club itself has reported that some players have left the place of isolation and therefore we will inform the competent authority, ie the prosecution, of what happened”, says Roberto Testi, an official from the local health authority, quoted Wednesday by the Italian agency Ansa.

Juventus players and managers were placed in isolation on Saturday, a procedure that does not prevent them from training or playing but prohibits contact with the outside, after two cases of Covid-19. These cases do not concern players or members of the technical and medical staff, the club bianconero had specified.

With the exception of two other players returned home (Buffon and Demiral), the rest of the workforce remains for the moment in isolation at the Juventus hotel. Several other internationals also summoned with their selection will be able to leave quickly, as soon as they have had their final negative test. This is particularly the case of the French Adrien Rabiot, but also of the Italians Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci, of the Welsh Aaron Ramsey or the Pole Wojciech Szczesny.
