Two day games of professional baseball were held on the 14th, even though it was a weekday.

Day games were scheduled in Miyagi and Hokkaido, and four night games were all scheduled at local stadiums, making it a rare day with no games being held in Kanto or Kansai.

Nippon-Ham vs. Seibu was held at Escon F in Hokkaido, home of Nippon Ham, and Rakuten-Softbank was held at Rakuten Mobile in Miyagi, home of Rakuten, both starting at 1 p.m.

All night games will be held at local stadiums, with the Central League giants – DeNA playing in Toyama, Yakult – Hiroshima playing in Matsuyama, and Chunichi – Hanshin playing Toyohashi, while the Pacific League’s Orix and Lotte will be played in Naha.

On the internet, people are saying things like, “Today is a strange day with 2 day games and 4 night games in Toyama, Matsuyama, Toyohashi, and Naha…” “Local festivals are coming!” “Only local stadiums or day games.” “4 games in 1 day.” Isn’t it rare for local stadiums?”, “Professional baseball in a parallel world?”, “It’s so rare that there hasn’t even been a single game played in the Kanto region”, “Huh? It’s not a bicycle race, is it?”.
