No fewer than twelve (!) Corona cases near Mouscron, match …

The corona virus has also found its way to the dressing room at Mouscron. After Benjamin Van Durmen, among others, was infected last week, the counter in the Mouscron dressing room is currently at nine positive cases. Three members of staff are also infected. The match against Cercle Brugge, next Saturday, will be endangered in this way.

After three players – Benjamin Van Durmen, Loris Henry and Alexandre Ippolito – tested positive last week, as well as two staff members, there were again some positive cases with the red lantern yesterday. There would now be a total of nine infections in the Moscow dressing room. The club has not yet communicated who it is about, but attacker Harlem Gnohéré is already one of the infected nine.

For the time being, we still have to wait for an official communiqué from the club, but if nine players were effectively infected, Mouscron could ask for an extension for his match against Cercle Bruges next weekend. After all, the Pro League protocol states that a club can have a match postponed if it has at least seven positive cases.
