Raonic bent his back in front of Croatian Borna Coric in Russia. Whoever was once the third racket in the world will now take part in the European Open, held in Belgium this week. Fifth seed, he has an appointment Tuesday with the Slovenian Aljaz Bedene (52e).

Despite his presence in the final of the Cologne tournament, Quebecer Félix Auger-Aliassime remained at 22e world rank. Denis Shapovalov keeps his 12e echelon and Vasek Pospisil (80e) moves back one position.

In the WTA, no changes have occurred due to the cancellation of tournaments scheduled for last week. Bianca Andreescu (seventh), Leylah Annie Fernandez (89e) and Eugenie Bouchard (140e) are the top ranked Canadian women.
