Eagles vs. Giants | Prediction zur NFL Week 7 2020/21

In the preseason, the Philadelphia Eagles had barely made it into the play-offs. Without the injured quarterback Carson Wentz, there was a 9:17 against Seattle in the wild card round.

Bad luck with injuries is an issue again this year. For example, Philly’s offensive line has to get through the new season without pro bowlers Brandon Brooks and Andre Dillard.

In Week 1, QB Wentz had to pocket a whopping eight sacks at 17:27 in Washington. He also held the ball for too long and missed too many passes overall.

Wentz also showed a poor performance in the clear 19:37 at home against the Rams. The draw (23:23) against the Bengals in Week 3 prevented the 0-3 season start, but did not silence the discussions about substitute QB Jalen Hurts.

In Week 4 the time had finally come. With the 25:20 in the San Francisco 49ers, the “Birds” celebrated their first win of the season. Wentz was combative here and brought his team into play with important plays.

Here, however, the men of head coach Doug Pederson also benefited from the extremely poor game of Niners backup quarterback Nick Mullens. But the next setbacks shouldn’t be long in coming.

The 29:38 at the Steelers was followed by a close 28:30 at home against the Ravens. Despite the bankruptcies, Philly’s offense was doing well that Jalen Hurts now always gets his working hours.

In Week 7, the Eagles still have to do without numerous players such as TE Ertz, WR Jackson, DT Jackson, WR Jeffery, OT Johnson, LB Riley and RB Sanders due to injuries.
