NBA The Bulls’ idol explained that he has no patience
Michael Jordan It is on everyone’s lips in recent weeks among NBA fans. The fourth ring conquered by LeBron James has reopened the old debate about who is the best player of all time and has placed the mythical figure of ‘Air’ in a terrain in which it had not been seen before: in question.
The former Bulls player and now owner of the Hornets remains oblivious to any debate, but his figure continues to generate interest as evidenced by the interview conducted for the magazine ‘Cigar aficionado’ in 2017 and of which the extended version has now been published.

Among the cuts not seen before is the one in which he confesses his ritual before each home game, that he went through smoking a cigar before entering the pavilion: “We had to be at the stadium around six for the home games and the Traffic in Chicago was so bad that it took us an hour and a quarter or even an hour and a half. There I was, sitting in the car, worried about the traffic. I was very tense. So I started smoking. It became a ritual at home games. “
Jordan also took the opportunity to admit why he did not direct his career to the NBA benches: “I don’t have the patience to train. My biggest problem, from a competitive point of view, is the player’s point of view and the point of view from which I saw the game. It totally changes. For me, asking a player to focus on the game the way I played would not be fair because if he did not do it there is no place where I could hide my emotions. He won’t have patience. I have never felt that I could do it from an emotional point of view because I am so different and I have a different perception than the young people of today. “
