Assisting Sixers, Kevin Young joins Monty Williams at Suns

Arrived in Phoenix last year, Monty Williams has already renewed some of his assistants. Steve Blake and Larry Greer thus left the club before arriving in the “bubble”, and there were two places to take on the bench.

Member of Wolves, Brian Randle had taken the first, and it is Kevin Young who will finally occupy the second.

The 38-year-old had been attending the Sixers for four years, where he met Monty Williams two seasons ago. Previously, he had spent nine years as a “head coach” in the G-League, for the Delaware Blue Coats, Iowa Energy and the Utah Flash. He had also started his coaching career in Ireland.
