The GEiEG Uni, quarantined for two cases of coronavirus

The staff and coaching staff of the GEiEG Uni of the Women’s League-2 is isolated in quarantine since the beginning of the week after two members of the team, a coach and a player, tested positive for coronavirus in the voluntary screenings of the past week in Santa Eugènia. Both are asymptomatic and are in perfect condition, as is the rest of the team, but following the safety measures and recommendations of the health authorities, the GEiEG has decided to completely confine the team. Tomorrow, Saturday, GEiEG Uni had a Catalan League match against Advisoria Maresme which, of course, will not be played.

Similarly, Uni issued a statement yesterday stating that the GEiEG players have not had contact with those of the first team since before the departure of Spar Girona in Bilbao last Thursday to play the Super Cup.
