The party week in Kraggenburg will end together on Sunday, May 12, with a Top2000 event in the party tent. The theme is: ‘Back in time’.
From 10 a.m. everyone is welcomed in the party tent with coffee, tea, lemonade and something tasty. The celebration will then start at 11:00 am. Johan Wendt, church worker in Kraggenburg, leads the celebration together with the Top2000 band. The band consists of musical toppers from Kraggenburg and the surrounding area and performs various beautiful songs from the Top2000 under the direction of Ludy Bronsema.
Every year the Top2000 contains many songs with content: songs that evoke goosebumps and memories, some are explicitly about faith, others about important life experiences such as love and comfort.
During the service there will be an activity for primary school children and a babysitter will be available for children up to 4 years old in the FC Kraggenburg canteen. Admission to this event is free. A collection will be taken for charity: the Energy4All Foundation. This foundation raises money to accelerate and promote research into effective treatment of energy metabolism diseases.
