September 1st was a very special day for the Kansas City Chiefs’ 24-year-old quarterback as he not only got his Super Bowl championship ring, but also gave his longtime love. Brittany Matthews, an engagement ring.
The high school darlings announced their engagement news on social media, where Matthews gave fans a look at the athlete’s flower-filled proposal decor at Arrowhead Stadium. It looks like the athlete asked the question in one of the suites at Missouri Stadium using a lighted sign that reads “WILL YOU MARRY ME”.
“That happened today,” Matthews wrote on her Instagram story along with a snapshot of the decorated room.
The professional soccer player also showed off the inevitable diamond ring on her left hand. The bride-to-be also shared a picture of a romantic dining table set up outside in celebration of the future husband and wife-to-be.
