The Toronto Blue Jays are likely open to the idea of trading star players Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette this summer.
This is what the journalist from the MLB.com site Mark Feinsand put forward on Tuesday, based on the comments of a member of the staff of an American Baseball League team which kept the anonymity.

“I don’t think they’re opposed to it,” he said. They talked to the other teams about it. Their demands were ridiculous, but I think they will try to rebuild. Using those two guys to get stuff might be the best way to do that.”
Guerrero Jr. and Bichette could both become free agents after the 2025 campaign.
In 46 games so far this season, the Blue Jays are 21-25. They are in last place in the Eastern section of the American standings.
Guerrero Jr. had a .286 batting average and hit four home runs in 45 games. For his part, Bichette has an average of .230 and he has only produced 16 points in 43 games. The two teammates are far from the standards they have established in recent years.
“None of them are off to a good start, but other teams might see them as guys who need a change of scenery,” a Nationale executive also told Feinsand. Everyone knows what these guys can do, but maybe this lineup just needs a change.”
