AS Roma are ready to revive interest in Chris Smalling

Smalling spent the 2019/20 season on loan to Roma. The 30-year-old English international had a solid season in Italy, so much so that the club was keen to make his transfer definitive.
However, it was not possible to agree on an agreement between the two clubs. And, as a result, he returned to England before Roma’s campaign in the Europa League.
Smalling was the protagonist of 37 games in all competitions for the club from the Italian capital. He managed to score three goals and created two more for his teammates.
The 30 year old posted an exciting message after leaving Roma, claiming that he was gutted in order not to finish the season. And rumor has it that he intends to return to the club this summer.
