The Los Angeles Forum will serve as the voting center for the 2020 election

THE ANGELS – The LA Clippers, the Forum presented by Chase and the Registrar-Recorder / County Clerk of Los Angeles have announced that the Forum will serve as the Voting Center for the presidential general election. The Clippers and Forum will also unveil the LA Voters Win platform at www.LAVotersWin.com to encourage and enhance voter participation by helping voters check their registration status, explore what’s on their local ballot, research politics and make a plan for how to vote.

“You have undoubtedly heard the voices of our players, coaches and staff, passionately and strongly urging Americans to register and exercise their voting rights,” said Gillian Zucker, president of Clippers Corporate Operations. “We are dedicated to the same cause: fighting voter repression and empowering all citizens to make significant progress, for this generation and for generations to come. Inglewood is the home of the Forum and will soon be the home of the LA Clippers. Now, it will also be a home for local voters to come together and help shape a brighter future. “

Voters will be able to vote in person or deliver ballots by post to the Forum from 24 October to 3 November. The Voting Center at the Forum will follow all guidelines and best practices from the CDC and public health.

“We are thrilled to partner with LA Clippers and the Forum. This is a dunk for civic engagement and voter liberation, “said Dean C. Logan, Registrar-Recorder / County Clerk, Los Angeles County.” Hosting a Voting Center at the Forum guarantees Inglewood and surrounding communities a confident and positive personal voting experience in one of Los Angeles’ historic landmarks. In uncertain times, it is partnerships like this that demonstrate the spirit of community and the strength of our democracy. ”
