MotoGP Czech, Valentino Rossi commented on the incident of broken plate Marc Marquez page all

KOMPAS.com – Valentino Rossi also highlighted the plate fracture incident experienced by Marc Marquez in a very unusual situation ahead of the Czech MotoGP.

Marc Marquez is scheduled to return to race in the Czech MotoGP series which takes place on August 9, 2020 after he missed the Andalusian MotoGP two weeks ago.

However, Marquez will suddenly be sidelined again due to the plate placed on his right arm after a highside accident at the Jerez Circuit in the Spanish MotoGP was broken after a domestic crash.

Although the Marquez incident was considered unreasonable, Alberto Puiq as the Repsol Honda boss tried to straighten the chronology of the broken plate of the racer.

“He tried to open a very large window, like a large door, so the plate was broken,” Puig said as quoted by BolaSport.

Injuries to opening the windows are certainly not uncommon, but it is understandable looking back at the amount of pressure on Marquez’s arm.

Furthermore, the details of the window were described in more detail by Motomatters journalist, David Emmet, through an interview with Alex Marquez, which was then uploaded to his personal Twitter account.

In his tweet, Emmet wrote that the window that was making Marquez in pain was the large sliding door.

To Emmet, Alex Marquez, who is also a Repsol Honda racer, also explained about his brother’s strange incident.

“Alex Marquez said Marc broke his arm when he opened the large sliding door / French-style window after walking his dog,” wrote Emmet.

Meanwhile, Alex said that his brother wanted to take a leisurely walk before experiencing this strange incident.

“It happened around 7.30 in the morning, he woke up earlier than me. He wanted to take a walk and relax for a moment, then he opened some kind of big windows and injured his arm,” said Alex.

“He woke me and the physiotherapist at home, then they called [manajer] Emilio Alzamora, [Dokter] Xavier Mir, and headed straight for the hospital. It happens a little strange, but it can happen, “he added.

Feeling that he had experienced a similar incident, Valentino Rossi also commented on the Marquez incident.

For the racer nicknamed The Doctor, if you are not careful someone could experience terrible things in the house.

“In 2009, before the first test in MotoGP, I dropped the glass table until it broke and injured me,” Rossi said as quoted by Marca.

“I had stitches on one of my fingers and heel, it was very painful.

“Riders have to be careful, even if it’s only at home sometimes it’s also dangerous,” he added.

Apart from that, in addition to being confirmed to be absent for the third time in MotoGP 2020, Marquez is also in danger of being absent at the Austrian MotoGP which will be held the following week. (Eko Isdiyanto)
