Czech Republic MotoGP – Takaaki Nakagami’s Pressure After Replacing Marc Marquez’s Role

BOLASPORT.COM – The pressure was experienced by LCR Honda racer, Takaaki Nakagami, after becoming the spearhead of Honda at the 2020 Czech Republic MotoGP.

Takaaki Nakagami had a good start in MotoGP 2020 by becoming the best Honda racer in the last two races.

Takaaki Nakagami was able to finish in fourth place in the previous series, the Andalusian MotoGP (26/7/2020), and was only 1 second behind from the podium position.

These good results helped Nakagami get into the top group of the 2020 MotoGP standings. He is currently in fourth place with 19 points.

Nakagami’s neat display gave Honda relief after two of their flagship riders both suffered injuries.

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) suffered a broken right arm and was forced to step aside since the second series of the Andalusian MotoGP.

Meanwhile, Cal Crutchlow, who is Nakagami’s teammate, is still unable to perform optimally due to a wrist injury.

Apart from Nakagami, only Alex Marquez (Repsol Honda) is currently fit in the Honda garage.
