“Marc Marquez’s fault if Fabio Quartararo wins the 2020 MotoGP World”

KOMPAS.com – Fabio Quartararo looks promising in MotoGP 2020. He is now the leader of the premier class riders’ standings.

Quartararo has collected 59 points from the first three MotoGP races this season.

The Petronas Yamaha SRT racer swept two wins in the Spanish and Andalusian MotoGP.

Meanwhile, in the third series, the Czech MotoGP, Quartararo only finished seventh.

This result places Quartararo as a candidate for the 2020 MotoGP world champion.

However, Alberto Puig, always Honda’s manager, never teased about Quartararo’s chances of becoming a champion.

The man from Spain considers the 2020 world champion to be illegitimate without Marc Marquez.

Puig’s statement was answered by the legend of the 500cc class racing, Wayne Rainey.

In his statement, Rainey said that the winner of this season’s race remains valid, even without Marquez’s presence.

Rainey even seemed to blame Marquez for not being able to attend the track because of a “bad luck” accident.

“Marc Marquez has made a mistake, it’s his own fault and don’t blame Quartararo,” Rainey said. GPOne.

“As long as you can join the championship with 12 races, you can become a champion if you get the most points at the end of the season,” added Rainey.

Marquez had bad luck in the 2020 MotoGP. He suffered a great accident in the first series, aka the Spanish MotoGP and failed to finish.

As a result, the defending MotoGP champion had to miss several season series.

Noted, Marquez did not race the Andalusian, Czech, and Austrian MotoGP which will take place tonight, Sunday (19/8/2020) at the Red Bull Ring Circuit.

His position at Repsol Honda was temporarily replaced by test rider Stefan Bardl.
