Empowering Sportswomen: Inspirational Stories from Occitanie Featured in New Book

Sportswomen continue to be talked about through more and more works. A new addition to the landscape is that of the Maison du Sport au Féminin. Their first participatory book will be published on May 23: Fighting, they dream big, in which 9 sportswomen from Occitanie tell their story.

This project is the fruit of the work of Sophie Nanteuil and Laura Vergé, who collected these inspiring stories to share. This book was worked in close collaboration with the Lycée des Arènes in Toulouse for the graphic part and the Lycée Gabriel Péri in Toulouse for the distribution of the book. All royalties generated by the sale of the book will be donated to La Maison du Sport au Féminin to support its initiatives in favor of gender equality in sport.

9 sportswomen from Occitanie tell their story:

  • 🚴 Audrey and Célia Merle (Triathletes)

This book is part of the missions of the Maison du Sport au Féminin which “is part of the promotion of women’s sport”. A real educational tool for raising awareness of women’s sport but also of disability, this book is intended for young people as well as adults.
