WATCH: Hosung Choi’s WHIFFS driver on the last hole!

Hosung Choi may have one of the most bizarre golf swings the game has ever seen, but sometimes it goes a bit wrong. This was evident when WHIFFING his driver in the last hole of the Korea Professional Golf Tour’s Busan Gyeongnam Open on Saturday

Choi’s driver, as you can see from the video below, hits the ground well before the ball. As his pilot passes the ball, he falls off the rung. To his credit after such a shocking mistake for a Tour pro, he continued to bogey.

The crash came six months after Choi hit her playmate with her driver on the tee – LOOK HERE.

The 46-year-old had made a great start in the tournament with rounds of 63 and 68, but then fought over the weekend with rounds of 74 and 72 to fall in the tie for 39th and 10 shots with a winning score.

Choi is currently in 223th place in the world rankings and won the HEIWA PGM championship in November.

He made his PGA Tour debut last year with a sponsor exemption from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but lost the cut.

Choi won his first tournament at the Enjoy PGA Jakarta Indonesia PGA Championship, co-sanctioned by OneAsia Tour and Japan Golf Tour, and this made him eligible for joining the Japan Golf Tour, which he has maintained ever since.

What many people don’t know about Choi is that at the age of 19 he lost part of his thumb in an accident with a chainsaw.

According to the PGA Tour, “his thumb was reattached through a skin graft that included a piece of skin from his stomach.”
