Manchester City dries Liverpool: goal and double (?) Assist for De Bruyne | Premier League 2019/2020

Manchester City has taken national champion Liverpool (a bit) from its cloud. An efficient City smeared the sloppy champion a serious defeat. Kevin De Bruyne was one of the stars with a goal from the spot and one (or two) assist (s).

Kevin De Bruyne’s opening goal:

The Red Devil adds another assist:

Liverpool starts enthusiastically, but pays the price for that overconfidence

The pressure was already a few days away, but Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp expected the best match in corona times. The German was not proved wrong, because the first company in no way disappointed after an honor.

With the chest out, Liverpool initially jammed City. It also decorated opportunities, but Salah collided with Ederson and hit the post.

The champion earned a goal, but halfway through the first half, the ball was somewhat flattered in the basket of the home team. Gomez hugged Sterling too eagerly, De Bruyne did not miss his 11th of the season from the spot.

The home team was launched – with a rock-solid De Bruyne – and was merciless afterwards.

10 minutes later, a counter goal came out of the book: De Bruyne was very smart and made room for Sterling, who had already done 90 percent of the work with his assumption.

Liverpool suddenly opened the door completely and eventually had to go to the dressing room with a 3rd blow. Robertson was very naive, De Bruyne delivered his 17th assist of the season very quickly for Foden.

Will the Red Devil also get number 18?

City seemed to want to make a statement, because it steamed on after the break. Liverpool had to fear a beating, but got better after the 4-0 was missed.

It forced chances again and could have put some more poison into the match, but Mané illustrated the rotten evening with a very clumsy miss.

City’s sixteen seemed a bit bewitched, but on the other side it was still too often cheese with holes. De Bruyne was enjoying himself and was the declarant for Sterling’s 4-0 halfway through the second half.

Although it remains to be seen whether De Bruyne will be attributed that 18th assist, because the goal is probably classified as an own goal from Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The end of the game was also characterized by the same game image: De Bruyne was mad, Liverpool kept spilling. The 5-0 was rejected in the extra time.

4-0, a hard verdict, although this result does not affect the title and season of Liverpool.
