It’s no secret that Tiger Woods has a rather impressive golf setup in its backyard. As highlighted in a previous episode “At Home”, Woods has a series of greens cut at the conditions of a tournament, allowing him to practice putting, short play and wedges in the comfort of his courtyard.
But here’s the thing about South Florida: sometimes the weather stinks. And sometimes when the weather stinks, Woods still wants to work on his game. Or maybe it’s late at night and decide to try something a little different, but it’s too dark to go out. When you are the best player of your generation, Mother Nature must not hinder your practice. This is why Woods installed a high tech green in his laboratory.
Green is adjustable, allowing the user to edit interruptions via a touch-screen computer. In addition, the green can also draw the perfect line for all the put that it creates, telling the user exactly where to start the putt and creating an environment to work on technique, configuration and running.
It’s golfers’ dream stuff. For a complete look at the indoor green, installed a few days before shooting, watch this video.
