As the Redskins name change debate continues to gain ground, people around the world are pondering the potential options for change.
By browsing social media, the leaders of the clubhouse appear to be the Washington Warriors, Redtails and Redhawks.
At least one of these names has the blessing of a player that fans eventually hope to become the face of the franchise.

With several former Ohio State players on the team – Dwayne Haskins, Chase Young, Terry McLaurin – Matt Miller of Bleacher Report revolved around the idea of changing the Redskins to Buckeyes. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins responded by saying he liked the Redtails.
The Redtails were a group of airmen from Tuskegee, all-black fighter pilots during the Second World War.
Haskins said “that’s if we have to change the name,” adding that he doesn’t take a position that the team should change the name.
Reports suggest that a name change is likely before the start of the 2020 season.
