Ederson Plays, Bad News for the Gunners?

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will play Ederson in the face of Arsenal after Claudio Bravo is injured. This could be bad news for the Gunners.

City will challenge Arsenal at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup semifinals on Sunday (7/19/2020) early morning hrs. In the FA Cup, Bravo became the main choice for guarding the Citizens’ goal.

He revealed that Bravo was injured. This makes his position will be replaced by Ederson.

“He will play, Eddie, because Claudio is a bit injured,” Guardiola was quoted as saying Sportskeeda.

“In the last match he was not on the bench because he had a slight muscle problem. It’s not a big problem, but he can’t play tomorrow,” he explained.

Ederson’s play could be said to be bad news for Arsenal. Because the 26-year-old goalkeeper is often a nightmare for the London Cannon.

Ederson has met Arsenal six times. He is always able to bring City to beat Arsenal.

He even listed four cleansheet and the goal is only broken into two Arsenal players. Arsenal players who are able to break into Ederson’s goal are Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny.

The man from Brazil is also still appearing consistent with City this season. He managed to record 15 cleansheet from 33 appearances in the English League.
