Chelsea Transfer News: Blues Prepares £ 55m Bid for Dean Henderson | Football | Sports

Kepa has had a difficult time in West London after becoming the world’s most expensive goalkeeper two years ago when he switched £ 71m from Athletic Bilbao.

The Spanish international was in poor shape earlier this season and warmed the bank again when Chelsea pursued qualifying for the Champions League.

Kepa saved just 53 percent in the top division this season, while only two goals away from scoring the unwanted club record of most goals scored by a Chelsea goalkeeper in a Premier League season.

Chelsea has always been unlikely to get any investment back, but it is now believed that they are willing to suffer a severe loss to drive Kepa off their books.
