In statements released by the Serbian media Sportklub, the former tennis player also revealed: “Now we must hope that all those infected do not have serious consequences and symptoms. I am convinced that everyone, like tennis, will recover soon. ”

During the Adria Tour nine people contracted coronavirus, the former tennis player Goran Ivanisevic, one of the Djokovic trainers, was the last confirmed positive case among those involved in the controversial exhibition in The Balkans, which had to be canceled last Sunday as a result of the series of infections.

The former sportsman joined the list of infected that includes the Serbian Djokovic, the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the Serbian Viktor Troicki and the Croatian Borna Coric, among the group of tennis players.

In addition, they infected Marko Paniki, Djokovic’s physical trainer; Kristiian Groh, Dimitrov’s coach; Troicki’s wife Aleksandra, pregnant and due for delivery next month; and Djokovic’s wife, Jelena Ristic.
