The Brighton player warns Aaron Wan-Bissaka of the game against Manchester United

Brighton star Leandro Trossard has admitted that he is careful with Aaron Wan-Bissaka before meeting his team with Manchester United.

The midfielder praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side when both teams want to continue their promising form of the Premier League at Amex Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The Seagulls’ last home game was a dramatic 2-1 win over Arsenal, and Trossard believes they can trust this win as they try to end United’s undefeated run in 14 games.

On the Brighton official website, Trossard spoke specifically about United and Wan-Bissaka.

He said, “The way they play at the moment is very good, there are some big names and their greatest strength is the pace and ability they have in attack.

“You can record one on one with people, so it’s a challenge because speed is a huge thing in modern game.

“Aaron Wan-Bissaka has probably been my toughest opponent so far, he has a little bit of everything. He is fast, strong and well on the ball.

“You think you got away from him and then he can be with you again, but it’s another chance to test me against him.”

United was a comfortable 3-1 win in the second leg at Old Trafford in November, but Trossard believes Brighton has a big chance on Tuesday.

On the United game in general, he added: “It’s an exciting game to play in. Of course we want the crowd to be there, but this type of game is what you want as a player.

“They want to compete against the best, as we did in the last two games, and now we have another opportunity to play well again.

“Probably the key for us was believing in ourselves as a group that we could take points from everyone in the division.

“The comeback against Arsenal really showed that. We kept going until the last few seconds to win the game and it proved to be a huge boost to our confidence.”
