Talalayev replaced Bozhovich as head coach of Wings of the Soviets

Miodrag Bozhovich left the post of head coach of the Samara “Wings of the Soviets”.

“The Board of Directors of Krylya Sovetov PFC took place, at which, by agreement of both parties, a decision was made on the early completion of the work of head coach Miodrag Bozhovich and coaches Voio Chalov, Sasha Petrovich and Milorad Bayovich in the Samara club,” the club’s official website reported.

A Serbian specialist has led Krylia Sovetov since October 2018.

The new head coach of the Samara club, as matchtv.ru previously reported, will be Andrei Talalaev, with whom he signed a contract for 2 years. He will begin his duties on Monday. Talalayev’s coaching staff will include Sergey Kornilenko, Vladimir Kukhlevsky and Victor Gaus.

Recall that the last club of the Russian specialist was Khimki, which he left in the winter, when the team went in third place in the Olympus-FNL championship and gained the right to play in the quarterfinals of the Russian Cup, having defeated Rubin and Orenburg.

Earlier, 47-year-old Talalayev headed the Nizhny Novgorod Volga, Tambov and Pyunik. With the Tambov citizens he made his way to the “joints” zone, and in Armenia he became the first coach whose club went through two stages of qualifying for the Europa League.

“Wings of the Soviets” with 22 points occupy the last place in the RPL standings.
