A new copper theft keeps traffic on the R13 and R14 between Lleida and Borges Blanques closed

BarcelonaIn the third day of chaos in Rodalies, a new copper theft keeps the R13 and R14 between Lleida and Borges Blanques closed this Tuesday, as reported by Renfe. The company is managing alternative service by road in this section. Apart from this incident, there is some “spot” delay on the R4, affected by Sunday’s copper theft at Montcada Bifurcació, according to ACN.

According to the planned alternative plan, the R1 will resume its usual route this Tuesday. However, the R3 remains affected, which only has a rail service between Puigcerdà and Montcada Ripollet, and from here by bus to Fabra and Puig.

The R4 regains passage through Barcelona and circulates between Manresa and l’Hospitalet in the north and between Sant Vicenç de Calders and l’Hospitalet de Llobregat in the south, while the R7 continues without service and travelers can reach Cerdanyola with the R4 and from there by bus to the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

As for regional routes, the R12 only has service between Lleida and Calaf and via buses between Calaf and Manresa, where users can connect with the R4. The R8, the R2 and the southern regionals make their usual route.
