Sochi CEO Dmitry Rubashko said the club will punish striker Alexander Kokorin for attending a friend’s birthday.
The footballer posted a photo from the event on Instagram. Note that there was also a Sochi massage therapist Sergei Kolesnikov.
“In connection with the violation of Sochi’s internal rules by the club, disciplinary measures will be taken against Alexander Kokorin,” Rubashko said.
Earlier it was reported that Sochi and Zenit, which owns the rights to Kokorin, will not punish the player for violating the routine.
